Factory Experience design - Malas Frootland
Malas food products is in business of making Jams, crushes and fruit products since 1958. The company wished to invite people to see their oldest and first factory where the journey started in Panchgani. A gallery on first floor overlooks the filling line and allows a good view of the filling, caping, sealing and labling station. The company through this experience center wishes to connect with the consumers and enhance their relationship with the brand. This is the first phase of the experience gallery.
Design Solution
A factory viewing experience has been gamified as a visitor becomes a fruit (Mango, Strawbery, Kiwi and Orange) He/She gets chance to know about the fruit, see the fruit in the context of the world, read about about its nutritional facts, seasons and is lead to the factory through series of engaging installations. The experience center allows a multisensory experience with sound, smell and visual treat. As the factory experience is designed as point to the start and the journey of fruit is showcases in an engaging 3D animation depicting its journey from farm to the consumer. A quiz helps visitors to win points and get a chance to win discount at the retail counter.
